I bought this gorgeous Vera Wang Ethel wedding gown at a boutique in Miami, FL. I fell in love with this dress instantly! This is an A line dress made from Mikado silk which is a luxurious fabric that keeps you cool so you can dance and enjoy your night without feeling weighed down. I wore this gown to my ceremony at a church and to my indoor/outdoor reception. There is some damage to the bottom of the dress (from dancing and taking photos outdoors) which will not be an issue if you alter the dress and therefore hem the bottom fabric. The dress has been dry cleaned and is ready for your wedding day. I am 5'5 and wore 4 inch heels on my wedding day for reference.

Feel free to email me with any questions; I would be happy to provide additional photos.

Vera Wang's description:

"I am captivated by fabric manipulation and how layers of folded fabric, arranged skillfully, can create depth and character in a dress. Ethel flirts more with couture than other dresses in the collection by showcasing a mastery of cutting and folding. Each swirling tissue organza flange of the skirt is hand-cut. The look: incredibly romantic despite the lack of beading, lace or petticoats. Additionally Ethel is made of a new fabric of stretch Mikado, allowing innovation in form.

The bodice of Ethel is a contrast – clean and structured – accentuated by a simple grosgrain sash. I chose grosgrain, rather than horsehair, because its classic elegance and subtly felt more appropriate for this wedding dress. The tightly woven, ribbed texture adds depth while remaining versatile to mood and occasion.

Ethel is available with a tissue, organza shrug with seed bead and crystal rose petals. This shrug creates the perfect accessory by which to transition your look from conservative to sexy as you move from the ceremony to the reception."
