I searched all over the web trying to decide on a gown style and fell in love with the Jenny Packham designs after seeing a photo shoot from a gorgeously elegant wedding in New York City. After looking at just about every wedding gown she's ever made, I picked out a handful of styles that I wanted to find to try on based on their intricate, stunning beadwork and classic, not overwhelming, style. I found a shop an hour from my home that had about a dozen of her gowns in stock and went and tried them all on and fell in love with the Esme gown. The beads on the front, the slightly open backI bought it and had the same shop do the alterations with their tailor, who was very experienced in handling the complex beading on these gowns. I wore the dress to my wedding in May 2016 and it couldn't have been more perfect. I wanted nothing to do with the poofy, princess gown, and this dress, while being a completely different style, made me feel just as amazing as if I were in a multi-million dollar wedding. The guests found it to be stunning, including several requests to have it on standby for future weddings. I couldn't have found a better dress to celebrate marrying the love of my life. I hope it can be part of another bride's day of happiness.
